In sorta-answer to this blog's question, the lady next to me in the Internet salon definitely has the piccolo part from "Stars and Stripes Forever" as her ringtone. So, yes, Russians do play Sousa - on their cell phones, at least.
I have about 1.5 schools on my list right now. The first one is William and Mary. Come with me! The other one I don't remember the name of so I'll get back to you....
I think you're right about Honors. That's what a lot of people seem to be telling me. So I'm going to try to maybe do both.
Have you started thinking about any grad schools in particular?
